Design & Coordination

Comprehensive technical coordination to integrate prefabricated bathroom pods with the building and secure formal approval prior to manufacture, ensuring a structured and coordinated bathroom installation strategy.

Sterchele Group leads the coordination of modular bathroom pods in close collaboration with the client, design team, and main contractor.
We define scope early and carry out value engineering to optimise layouts, specifications, and interfaces while maintaining required performance standards and supporting efficient bathroom installation during later construction phases.

BIM-led coordination ensures alignment across architectural, structural, and MEP systems, concluding with formal design sign-off that establishes the approved basis for production and subsequent bathroom installation works.

Manufacture

Controlled off-site manufacturing of prefabricated bathroom pods from sample approval through to serial production, supporting consistent and predictable bathroom installation
on site.

Sample pods are produced to validate technical solutions and finishes prior to series manufacture.

Serial production is undertaken within our dedicated facility under defined quality control procedures.

Each pod is manufactured in accordance with the approved design, ensuring the level of precision and repeatability required to support efficient bathroom installation within the overall construction programme.

Delivery

Sequenced delivery aligned with site logistics and the planned bathroom installation strategy.

Delivery programmes are structured with the main contractor to align with construction sequencing and site logistics.

Bathroom pods are transported with appropriate protection to suit project constraints and ensure they arrive ready for bathroom installation.

Sterchele attends the first delivery to support unloading and establish consistent inspection and handling procedures for subsequent phases of the bathroom installation process.

Installation & Site Services

Defined inspection, verification, and support during bathroom installation and key handover stages.

Once pods are in temporary position, Sterchele undertakes documented Testing & Inspection prior to handover. This stage is completed jointly with the main contractor and, where required, the design team.

Inspection records are issued using Sterchele forms or integrated into the project’s digital quality management system to maintain traceable verification throughout the bathroom installation process.

Following inspection and documented approval, pods are moved into their final position either by the appointed installation contractor or by Sterchele, depending on project scope.

Pods are then handed over for connection by the appointed M&E contractor as part of the final bathroom installation works.

Following service activation, Sterchele undertakes functional performance testing, including TMV balancing and fail-safe checks, where included within scope.

Snagging and final close-out activities are managed as part of a structured bathroom installation and project handover process.

Documentation & Handover

Structured documentation and certification supporting regulatory submissions and controlled project close-out following bathroom installation.

Sterchele Group delivers a documentation package aligned with project-specific and UK regulatory requirements for off-site bathroom construction.

This includes MEP test certification, as-built records, and formal Testing & Inspection documentation generated at defined verification stages of the bathroom installation process.

For Higher-Risk Building projects, documentation supports Gateway submissions and establishes clear, traceable records across design, manufacture, and bathroom installation stages.

Warranties and user manuals are issued as part of the final handover package.

After-Sales Support

Post-completion support following bathroom installation, focused on performance assurance and continued accountability.

Sterchele Group provides defined post-completion support to ensure the bathroom pods continue to perform as designed after bathroom installation.

Warranty activities are managed in accordance with agreed project terms and defined response procedures.

Where required, we coordinate with the client and facilities management team to address warranty items following handover.

Our continued involvement reinforces accountability and long-term asset performance after the completion of the bathroom installation process.
