StercheleGroup is supplying 530 prefabricated bathroom pods for Morello II, part of a £350 million regeneration scheme in Croydon.
The development is being delivered in phases:
- Morello Estate: Two 25-storey towers providing 338 apartments.
- Cherry Orchard Gardens: A nine-storey stepped development delivering 118 shared-ownership and affordable homes.
Phase one has already completed more than 340 homes close to East Croydon station. Phase two will deliver additional residential units, 18,000 sq ft of commercial space, new public realm, and a bridge providing direct access to the station.
Main contractor Sir Robert McAlpine is targeting 90% responsible sourcing of materials and a 98% recycling rate for construction waste.
Off-site prefabrication, including bathroom pods, façade panels and windows, is helping to reduce on-site waste and accelerate installation. StercheleGroup’s bathroom pods are being delivered in line with programme requirements, supporting quality, efficiency and sustainability across this landmark development.
