Bathroom Pods in the Major Cherry Park London Development.

StercheleGroup has supplied 792 prefabricated bathroom pods for the first phase of Cherry Park, a major private rental sector (PRS) development valued at USD 750 million, located next to Westfield Stratford City. Once complete, it will be one of the largest single-site PRS schemes in London. Construction commenced in Q2 2019, with phased delivery and final completion following 2023.

Cherry Park will deliver approximately 1,200 new homes across a mix of tower and mid-rise buildings, supported by a wide range of amenities including a gym, swimming pool, co-working spaces, landscaped public areas, playgrounds and pedestrian-friendly routes.

The project reflects Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield’s strategy of integrating residential, retail, office and hotel uses within high-density urban environments. Led by PSP Investments and QuadReal Property Group through the Cherry Park Partnership, the scheme also demonstrates the scale and maturity of the UK rental market, where around 38% of homes are rented, compared with 26% in Italy, and the resulting demand for high-quality, professionally managed rental accommodation.

StercheleGroup’s prefabricated bathroom pods were delivered and installed in line with the programme, contributing to improved efficiency, consistent quality and reduced on-site impact across this landmark development.
